The 1st Steering Committee Meeting was held on 19 October 2007 in Geneva, Switzerland and hosted by the World Meteorological Organization.

The 2nd Steering Committee Meeting was held on 16th of May 2008 in Chisinau, Moldova and hosted by the State Hydrometeorological Service.
